Segezha Packaging is an integrated member of the InvestLesProm Group (ILP), which was established in 2006 to become a key player in the forestry industry – in Russia and in Europe as a whole.
The business units in ILP cover the entire chain from forest to finished packaging, including activities within forestry, mills, paper production, fibreboard and paper packaging.
As a member of the ILP, Segezha Packaging has a strong owner focused and determined on creating continuous growth and development for each of the business units as well as for the group as a whole.
Through our sister company Segezha Paper & Pulp, we have continuous, uninterrupted access to our own forests, paper production and to our key raw material: high quality sack paper. Segezha Paper & Pulp, situated in Karelia, is Russia’s largest and the world’s third largest producer of sack paper with an annual capacity of approximately 350,000 tons.
Significant strategic investments have been made in Segezha Packaging and also in Segezha Pulp & Paper. Segezha Pulp & Paper has recently announced the rebuilding of its PM9 machine to produce extensible sack papers, substantially increasing the production of high quality sack paper.
